I've worked with Promo.Cymru pretty much since Glue Studio started in 2016, so when they asked me to work on one of their flagship projects - Meic.Cymru, it was an honour to be part of a project which has helped countless young people over the last 25 years. The site was ageing and needed a facelift to help keep the service engaging for the next 25 years and beyond.
We worked closely together, with Promo.Cymru providing the designs and running the management of the project and me working on the build and suggesting improvements to the overall flow where possible. We wanted to keep the site light and user friendly, with minimal animations to distract from the core message.
It was essential that the website was optimised for mobile, so we worked with a mobile first design approach and worked outwards from there to ensure optimal usability for the target audience.
The final project build included:
