Oh What A Year It’s Been, 2018

Writing these things is never easy – I’ve been staring at a blank screen for the last 15 minutes trying to work out how to start things off.

When I first sat down to write this it was going to be a blow by blow account of everything that we’ve done this year. However I don’t think anyone wants to read that. Then I thought it could be more of a round up of some of the big changes we’re going to be making next year – new technologies and the like, but that’s not really a review of the year gone by. Then I started to think about why people actually write these things – and why people would actually read them.

Lucky Isn’t the Right Word, but Something Close

I guess what I really want to get across is how incredibly lucky we are as a company to be in the position we are right now. From an internal point of view, I think we’ve got one of the best teams out there. Looking at our technical skill, our creative flair and our love of all things client services – I honestly feel like there’s nothing we can’t do as an agency. We’ve consistently delivered on every project we’ve been involved with and have a 100% client retention figure – getting positive feedback from each and every person we’ve worked with this year.

Even our collection of associates who are delivering beyond extraordinary work for us and our clients have been an absolute dream to work with this year.

From an external standpoint, we’re working with some of the best companies out there. I’m pretty sure I could comfortably go out for a pint with any one of the people we work with and have an excellent time. We’ve seen their businesses go from strength to strength and we’re so proud that we could support them on their journey while they have supported us on ours.

Come On, What Are You Trying To Say?

So, in short I guess what I am trying to say is a massive thank you – to everyone we’ve done work for and to everyone who’s done any work for us. 2018 has been an absolutely crazy year in terms of the projects we’ve had the opportunity to work on and next year is shaping up to be even better.

We hope you have a wonderful Christmas and New Year. Make sure you take some time off, drink too much mulled wine and eat too many mince pies – we most certainly will!

Best Wishes,

Alex, James, Carol and Amy.
