Disability Wales are the body which represent the rights and interests of disabled people in wales. They regularly campaign for better recognition of disability rights and run projects which improve the lives of disabled people.
The Disability Wales website was looking outdated and wasn’t offering an accessible experience for all it’s users. Staff at disability wales found it hard to update and maintain so were looking for an easier and simpler solution to promote their presence online. It had to conform to all accessibility standards while looking modern and professional to reflect Disability Wales’ presence.
The project was managed by Promo Cymru and we were brought onboard as the developers to assist with the delivery of the site.
How We Helped
We built a site which exceeded all of their requests and expectations. Working perfectly across all devices, including screen readers, it features a well structured and easy to use navigation system. We integrated the site with MailChimp, and Eventbrite to manage their mailing lists and regular events, and also included a number of forms to allow people to register for membership
